BetMGM Becomes LPGA’s First Official Betting Partner

The LPGA inked a multi-year agreement with BetMGM. Under the agreement, the sports betting and entertainment leader was named Official Betting Operator and Partner of the LPGA.

LPGA Names BetMGM Official Betting Operator

The LPGA announced on Wednesday that it named BetMGM its Official Betting Operator and Partner. Under the multi-year agreement, BetMGM will feature LPGA odds along with the European Tour, the PGA Tour, and other global leagues and events. Furthermore, the partnership grants BetMGM rights to use the Official Tour Partner logo when necessary for promotions and advertising of their services and sports betting products.

BetMGM, via its partnership with MGM Resorts, has access to already existing sponsorships with multiple leading LPGA Tour Members. Such include Michelle Wie West, Natalie Gulbis, Cristie Kerr, Alison Lee, and more famous athletes.

Before this agreement, earlier this year, MGM Resorts teamed up with the LPGA Tour for the Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play event. This was the first match-play event for the LPGA Tour since 2017. The Hope LPGA Match-Play event was hosted by Shadow Creek.

BetMGM Looks Forward to Collaborating with the LPGA

Matt Prevost, BetMGM’s chief revenue officer said that the company looks forward to collaborating with the LPGA. Furthermore, he acknowledged that 7BALL BetMGM has advanced technology, which offers LPGA fans a seamless and user-friendly experience and multiple betting options.

MGM Resorts’ senior vice president for sports and sponsorships, Lance Evans, shared his excitement. He revealed that while MGM’s commitment to golf is unparalleled, it is now further strengthened by the new partnership with the LPGA. Furthermore, Evans said that some of the world’s best athletes are a part of the LPGA, and some of them also happen to be MGM Resorts golf ambassadors. In conclusion, he said that by collaborating with BetMGM, the company is looking forward to creating exciting experiences for guests and sports fans.

The LPGA Is Happy to Partner with BetMGM

LPGA’s senior vice president of global media distribution, Brian Carroll, said that BetMGM is already a proven supporter of women’s golf, and a leading sports betting and entertainment operator. He added that digital gaming and sports betting “are key elements of the future of sports“. Furthermore, Carroll stressed that “BetMGM is on the forefront of both opportunities”.
