Golden Gate Hotel & Casino ready for major expansion

Late last week the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino located on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas announced a major renovation is set to 7BALL begin soon. The last time the venue completed a big expansion was in 2012 when a five-story hotel tower was added along with a new exterior design and new lobby. With the new renovation plans, the casino will double in size with more on offer for patrons to enjoy.

The downtown Las Vegas property is 111 years old and will feature a new dramatic entrance as well as an extension of the OneBar at One Fremont Street. The venue will close from the 20th to the 25th of August in order to begin the construction phase of the plan. As far as the casino plans are concerned, the venue will be adding 100 slot games with a new focal point of the venue will include a 24-foot tower of televisions that will be 360-degrees around displaying as if the televisions are emerging in a fountain style.

CEO Derek Stevens commented on the new renovation announcement by stating that since the venue opened as Hotel Nevada in 1906, the Golden Gate has played a key role when it comes to growth and success in the downtown region of the city. Golden Gate is thrilled to continue their incredible narrative and evolution while still contributing to the ongoing revitalization of the area.

Golden Gate Casino has remained popular over the years and the new changes are sure to be enjoyed by visitors, with more gaming options on offer as well as a revamped entrance that will include velvet drapes complete with gold medallions.
